Role & responsibilities

1. Develop and maintain 1D system-level models of fuel and hydraulic systems using Simcenter Amesim.
2. Perform simulation and analysis of fuel control valves and hydraulic control systems for Engine applications.
3. Develop models for pressure regulators, relief valves, flow control valves, check valves, actuators, pumps, and related hydraulic components.
4. Support the design and analysis of hydraulic compressors/pumping systems, including flow, pressure, efficiency, and operating characteristics.
5. Analyze pressure drop, flow rate, pressure regulation, valve response, transient behavior, and system stability.
6. Develop and validate mathematical/system models using MATLAB.
7. Correlate simulation results with available experimental/test data and support model validation.
8. Perform steady-state and transient simulations for different operating conditions and identify system-level performance issues.
9. Support parameter optimization and sensitivity studies for valves and hydraulic/fuel system components.

Troubleshoot simulation/modeling issues and provide technical support for Amesim and MATLAB-based system models.
11. Prepare technical documentation including simulation reports, model descriptions, test cases, results, and engineering recommendations.
12. Coordinate with mechanical design, analysis, controls, and testing teams to support

system integration and validation.
1. Interpret engineering drawings and component specifications related to valves,

hydraulic systems, piping, and fuel-control systems.
1. Support the development and modification of CAD models/drawings when required.
2. Provide technical support during design reviews, simulation reviews, testing,

troubleshooting, and system-level integration activities.

Preferred candidate profile

Good communication, presentation, and technical report-writing skills.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to engineering accuracy and detail.
