Role Description The Fashion Designer will work full time on-site in Lucknow, collaborating closely with the creative and production teams to design collections that align with T Organiks’ organic and identity-focused ethos. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching trends and organic materials, developing design concepts, sketching and illustrating garments, and creating technical specifications for production.

The role also involves selecting fabrics and trims, coordinating with pattern makers and tailors, and ensuring that each piece meets brand standards for quality, comfort, and environmental responsibility.

Designer will participate in fittings, provide design adjustments, and support the development of marketing assets by offering creative input on styling and visual presentation.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in fashion design, including sketching, garment construction understanding, and creating technical drawings.
- Experience with fabric selection, particularly organic and sustainable textiles, and knowledge of eco-friendly production practices.
- Ability to conduct market and trend research while prioritizing originality and brand identity over fast fashion trends.
- Proficiency in design tools (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or other fashion design software) to develop and refine concepts.
- Attention to detail in fit, finishing, and quality control, with a commitment to delivering comfortable, durable garments.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with pattern makers, production teams, and marketing.
- Prior experience in fashion design or apparel development; experience with sustainable or organic brands is a plus.
- Relevant education in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
