A farm equipment operator drives and maintains heavy machinery like tractors and combines to plant, cultivate, and harvest crops.

Core Responsibilities

Operate Machinery: Drive tractors, seed drills, sprayers, and harvesters to prep fields, plant seeds, and gather crops.

Apply Treatments: Spray fields with fertilizers, pesticides, or water using automated or hand-held tools.

Maintain Equipment: Inspect, clean, and perform routine mechanical repairs on farm tools and vehicles.

Handle Materials: Load and unload crops, feed, or chemicals using conveyors, forklifts, or manual tools.

Support Livestock: Feed animals or transparent animal waste when required.

Key Skills and Qualifications

Mechanical Know-How: Ability to spot machine problems and fix minor issues.

Physical Stamina: Comfort with heavy lifting and long hours outdoors.

Licenses: A valid driver's license or specific pesticide applicator certification, depending on local rules

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
