Job Summary

We are looking for an energetic, expressive, and student-friendly Science Faculty to conduct engaging online classes for 8th Standard students under our Curious Junior Programme.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of school-level Science, excellent communication skills, and the ability to simplify concepts through real-life examples, demonstrations, storytelling, activities, quizzes, and interactive teaching methods.

The faculty should be able to create curiosity among students and make Science interesting, practical, and easy to understand.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct engaging and interactive online Science classes for 8th Standard students.
- Explain Science concepts clearly using simple language and relatable real-life examples.
- Use experiments, demonstrations, activities, quizzes, stories, and visual resources to make learning interesting.
- Encourage students to ask questions, participate actively, and develop scientific thinking.
- Create curiosity and interest in Science beyond textbook learning.
- Identify and address students' doubts effectively.
- Follow the prescribed curriculum, lesson plans, and academic standards.
- Maintain an energetic and interactive virtual classroom environment.
- Use effective voice modulation, facial expressions, gestures, and storytelling to hold students' attention.
- Adapt teaching methods according to students' learning levels and responses.
- Use digital boards, presentations, animations, videos, quizzes, polls, and other online teaching tools effectively.
- Maintain a professional appearance,



background, lighting, audio, and camera setup during online classes.
- Communicate professionally with parents whenever required.
- Create awareness about the value of continued learning through the Master Programme.
- Participate in faculty training, academic reviews, quality audits, and feedback sessions.
- Continuously improve teaching methods based on student, parent, and academic team feedback.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or a relevant subject.
- Robust conceptual knowledge of 8th Standard Science.
- Prior teaching/tutoring experience is preferred.
- Experience teaching school students, especially middle-school students, will be an advantage.
- Experience in online teaching is preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong storytelling and student engagement skills.
- Confident and expressive camera presence.
- Comfortable using digital teaching platforms and online classroom tools.
- Energetic, creative, patient, and student-friendly approach.
