Job Summary The Department of Psychology is seeking a highly qualified, research-driven academician holding a Ph.D. in Psychology. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate honors courses, manage advanced psychology labs, mentor students through live case studies, and lead regional mental health community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

- Academic Delivery: Lecture, evaluate, and design course materials for the NEP-empowered B.Sc. (Hons.) Psychology curriculum.
- Practical & Lab Training: Oversee hands-on training in psychometric testing kits, counseling practice, biofeedback equipment, and Statistical software.
- Research Supervision: Mentor students through undergraduate dissertations, live case studies, and regional research projects (e.g., stress in hill communities, disaster psychology).
- Community Outreach: Organize and lead local mental health camps, adolescent wellness drives, and counseling workshops.
- Administrative Duties: Assist in curriculum planning, examination duties, admissions counseling, and internal NAAC compliance activities.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Ph.D.



in Psychology / Clinical Psychology / Applied Psychology or a closely related specialization from a recognized university.
- Eligibility Benchmark: Cleared UGC-NET / JRF (preferred, in line with UGC norms for central university affiliations).
- Core Competencies: Extensive knowledge of psychological theories, psychometrics, data analysis using Statistical software, and practical counseling methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional English and Hindi communication skills, team-oriented teamwork capability, and leadership traits.
