Role Purpose The Factory Manager will be responsible for leading the manufacturing unit as an integrated business operation, ensuring safe, reliable, efficient and high-quality production while building a disciplined, capable and engaged workforce. The role reports to the CEO and will have HR, Administration, Production Engineering, Maintenance, Services, Shipping and Despatch reporting into it.
Education & Experience The candidate should be a Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineer with around 15 years of experience in paper, packaging, printing, filter media, insulation materials or similar process industries. Experience in automated manufacturing environments, preferably involving SCADA, PLC-based controls, IoT-enabled monitoring, process controls and modern shop-floor systems, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the plant to deliver production, quality, cost, safety, delivery and people-development targets. Ensure smooth commissioning, stabilisation and scale-up of the new unit. Drive process discipline, preventive maintenance, productivity improvement, energy efficiency and waste reduction.
Build robust systems for production planning, inventory control, despatch, engineering support, statutory compliance and EHS. Develop a performance-oriented culture with clear accountability across departments. Work closely with the CEO and corporate functions on budgeting, capex execution,
customer commitments, quality standards and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure high levels of housekeeping, safety compliance, employee engagement and industrial harmony.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of process manufacturing, automation, maintenance systems, quality systems and factory operations. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage a medium-sized workforce with discipline and empathy. Good analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Strong communication skills in English, Hindi and Kannada or any one South Indian language. Must be comfortable working with digital dashboards, plant data, MIS, ERP and automated control systems.

Continuous improvement in productivity, yield, energy use, customer service and overall plant performance.
Pay: ₹3,500,000.00 - ₹5,000,000.00 per year
