Role Description

This is a full-time, in office Facade Designer role based in Maharashtra, India.

The Facade

Designer will develop detailed facade concepts and technical solutions in line with architectural intent, performance requirements, and project budgets. Typical responsibilities include preparing and reviewing shop drawings, coordinating facade details with structural and MEP teams, and ensuring compatibility with cladding and glazing systems. The role involves collaborating with project managers,



manufacturing teams, and site engineers to resolve design issues and support smooth execution.

The Facade

Designer will also participate in design reviews, maintain documentation, and adhere to safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Facade and Facade Design for developing, detailing, and optimizing building envelopes.
- Candidates should possess skills in Cladding and Glazing for selecting appropriate materials, systems, and installation methods.
- Candidates should possess skills in Shop Drawings for creating accurate, coordinated, and compliant technical documentation.
- Relevant academic background in architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and 2D/3D modelling tools used in facade design.
- Understanding of structural behavior, thermal performance, waterproofing, and building codes related to facades.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in facade fabrication or construction projects is preferred.
