Role Description This is a full-time, in office Fabrication Supervisor role based in Chennai.

The Fabrication

Supervisor oversees daily fabrication activities on the shop floor and at project sites, ensuring production plans are followed and safety standards are maintained.

Responsibilities include assigning tasks to fabrication teams, monitoring progress, coordinating with production planning and engineering, and resolving technical or process issues. The role involves supervising welding and fabrication quality, inspecting completed work, and enforcing quality control procedures. The supervisor also supports training and skill development for team members,



maintains documentation and reports, and collaborates with management to meet delivery schedules and productivity targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, with experience in inspection, adherence to standards, and documentation of quality checks.
- Candidates should possess Production Planning skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, plan workloads, and manage timelines.
- Candidates should possess Welding-related skills, including familiarity with welding processes, materials, and weld quality requirements.
- Candidates should possess Training skills to mentor staff, support skill development, and promote safe working practices.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Production/Manufacturing Engineering or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in heavy fabrication, structural steel, or industrial equipment manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Working knowledge of safety regulations, fabrication tools and machinery, and basic MS Office or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational abilities, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
