Job Summary: The Extrusion Officer is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring plastic extrusion machines to produce high-quality tubing as per specifications.



The role requires adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards while ensuring minimal waste and downtime..

- Operate and monitor extrusion machines for medical-grade tubing/products
- Set parameters (temperature, pressure, speed) as per SOPs
- Ensure product quality, dimensions, and compliance with standards
- Perform machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
- Maintain production records and batch documentation
- Follow GMP, safety, and hygiene requirements
- Coordinate with QA/QC for inspections and approvals
- Minimize material wastage and improve process efficiency
- Conduct preventive maintenance and report breakdowns

Skills & Competencies:

- Knowledge of plastic extrusion processes (tubing, profiles, sheets).
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments (micrometer, calipers, gauges).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for machine adjustments and minor repairs. Willingness to work in shifts and in a manufacturing workplace.
- Qualifications & Experience:
- High school diploma / CIPET / Diploma in Mechanical, Plastics, or Polymer preferred.
