Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial records of Relief Group. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, handling GST and statutory requirements, reconciliations, reporting, and supporting management with financial information.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Handle sales, purchase, receipts, payments, expenses, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documents.
- Perform bank, cash, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports.
- Assist with GST-related accounting, returns, reconciliation, and documentation.
- Verify purchase and sales invoices and ensure proper accounting.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Assist in preparing Trial Balance, Profit & Loss Account, and Balance Sheet.
- Review accounting entries and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, suppliers, and internal departments when required.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and taxation procedures.
- Support management with financial analysis and reports.




- Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.

Requirements
- Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / equivalent accounting qualification.
- Experience: 1–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Good working knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience with accounting software / ERP systems.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience in retail, pharmacy, healthcare, or multi-branch businesses is an advantage.
