We are looking for a Fashion Designer – Executive who can translate trends, customer insights and commercial requirements into creative and market-relevant product collections.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Creative Direction

- Develop seasonal concepts, mood boards, colour stories, prints, silhouettes and commercially relevant collections.
- Research fashion trends, market developments and customer preferences.
- Develop fresh design concepts aligned with the Sweet Dreams brand identity.

Product & Commercial Understanding

- Understand sales data, customer requirements, price points and product performance.
- Use commercial insights to support design and range decisions.
- Identify opportunities for new products and design improvements.

End-to-End Product Ownership

- Manage the design process from concept and range planning through sampling, fittings, approvals and final production.
- Coordinate closely with merchandising, sourcing and production teams for timely execution.
- Review samples and ensure design intent is maintained through production.

Teamwork & Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Work independently while coordinating effectively with Merchandising, Sourcing, Production,



Marketing and other Design team members.
- Participate in product reviews, range discussions and sampling meetings.
- Ensure timely communication and closure of design-related requirements.

Innovation & Brand Building

- Bring fresh and innovative ideas to the product range.
- Identify new product and design opportunities based on market trends and customer needs.
- Ensure designs consistently strengthen the brand's identity and market relevance.

Technical & Execution Skills

- Develop technical drawings and support garment detailing.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Knowledge of print development, colourways, fabric/garment details and tech packs.
- Coordinate with relevant teams for sampling and design execution.

Required Skills

- Strong creative and conceptual thinking.
- Good understanding of fashion trends, colours, prints and silhouettes.
- Commercial approach towards fashion and product development.
- Valuable knowledge of garment construction and technical details.
- Proficiency in Illustrator / Photoshop.
- Strong coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple designs and timelines simultaneously.

Candidate Profile

- 2–4 years of relevant experience in Fashion Design / Apparel / Lifestyle / Retail.
- Candidates from fashion, apparel, lifestyle or retail brands will be preferred.
- Should have a good balance of creativity, commercial understanding and execution ability.
- Ability to work from the Ahmedabad office is required.
