Key Responsibilities :-

- Robot Teaching &
- Programming:

Perform online and offline robot teaching (path planning, point-to-point calibration, velocity tuning) for automation cells (e.g., welding, handling, or assembly).

- Jigs &

- Fixtures Integration:

Align and test custom jigs and fixtures to verify proper part location, clamping pressure, and zero-interference fit during automated cycles.

- Cycle Time Optimization: Analyze robot motion sequences and fixture clamp timings to reduce overall cycle times and eliminate bottlenecks.

- Troubleshooting &

- Maintenance:

Diagnose robotic faults, sensor misalignments, or fixture wear, performing root-cause analysis for recurring shop-floor defects.

- Process Documentation: Create and update robot backup programs, operation manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tooling setups.





Required Skills &

- Qualifications:-

- Education: Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in production, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.

- Robotics Knowledge: Hands-on experience teaching industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, Yaskawa, KUKA, ABB).

- Tooling Expertise: Robust understanding of 3-2-1 locating principles, clamping mechanisms, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T;).

- Software: Familiarity with CAD/CAM software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA) to review or modify fixture drawings.

- Methodologies: Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma problem-solving tools.
