Role Overview:

The Executive – Legal & Regulatory Affairs will support the Legal Department in contract drafting and review, legal research, regulatory compliance, documentation, legal correspondence and day-to-day legal advisory requirements of the organisation. The role will involve coordination with internal business teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely closure of legal and contractual matters while managing associated legal and regulatory risks.

Key Responsibilities:

A.

Contract

Drafting & Review

- Draft, review and revise various commercial and legal documents, including MoUs, agreements,

- NDAs, service agreements, partnership agreements, addendums, engagement letters and other contractual documents.

- Review agreements received from business partners and identify legal, commercial and regulatory risks.

- Incorporate business and commercial inputs into legal documents and coordinate with stakeholders for closure.

- Maintain and update standard legal templates.

B.

Legal

Research & Advisory Support

- Conduct legal research on applicable laws, rules, regulations, notifications, circulars and judicial decisions.

- Assist senior members of the Legal Department in providing legal opinions and responses tobusiness queries.

- Track relevant legal and regulatory developments affecting the organisation’s operations.

- Prepare legal notes, issue summaries and internal advisory communications.

C. Regulatory & Compliance Support

- Assist in monitoring compliance with applicable statutory, regulatory and sector-specific requirements.

- Support the Legal Department in matters involving regulatory authorities and statutory bodies.

- Maintain records of regulatory approvals, registrations, licences, filings and other relevant documentation.

- Assist in identifying potential regulatory risks and escalating material issues to seniormanagement.

D.

Legal

Notices & Dispute Support

- Assist in drafting legal notices, replies, representations, demand letters and other legal correspondence.

- Support the Legal Department in managing disputes, claims and litigation-related matters.

- Coordinate with external advocates/counsels and maintain records of ongoing legal matters.





- Assist in preparing documents and information required for legal proceedings.

E.

Contract

Management & Documentation

- Maintain an organised repository of executed and pending agreements.

- Track contract status, expiry dates, renewal timelines, termination notices and other contractualobligations.

- Follow up with relevant stakeholders for execution, stamping, notarisation and other documentation requirements, wherever applicable.

- Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of legal transactions.

F.

Internal Stakeholder

Coordination

- Coordinate with Business, Operations, Finance, HR, Compliance and other functions on legal requirements.

- Ensure that legal matters are appropriately documented and escalated where required.

- Assist in developing internal legal processes, SOPs, checklists and compliance mechanisms.

G.

General Legal

Support

- Assist in due diligence exercises, vendor/partner onboarding and background documentation.

- Support the preparation of management reports.

- Undertake other legal and regulatory assignments as may be allocated by the reporting manager.

Qualifications &

Skills Required:

- LL.B. / B.A. LL.B. / B.B.A. LL.B. from a recognised institution.

- 1–2 years of relevant experience in a corporate legal department, law firm or in-house legal function.

- Prior experience in contract drafting, agreement review and legal research will be preferred.

- Experience in the education, skilling, training, technology or services sector will be an added advantage.

- Solid understanding of basic principles of contract law and commercial agreements.

- Good legal drafting and reviewing skills.

- Strong legal research and analytical abilities.

- Good written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to identify contractual and regulatory risks.
