Key Responsibilities – Industrial Relations & Employee Relations Manage day-to-day Industrial Relations (IR) activities at the plant. Handle workmen grievances, employee relations and disciplinary matters. Maintain positive relations with workmen, supervisors and employee representatives. Handle absenteeism, manpower issues and shop-floor employee concerns. Support disciplinary proceedings, show-cause notices, warning letters and domestic enquiries. Manage contract labour and coordinate with contractors regarding manpower and compliance. Support management in resolving labour-related issues and disputes. Conduct employee welfare and engagement activities for plant employees.
Labour
Compliance Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements. Maintain statutory registers, records and required HR/IR documentation. Coordinate with external agencies, contractors and government authorities when required. Support labour inspections, audits and compliance reporting. Monitor contractor compliance related to manpower, wages, attendance and statutory requirements.
Plant
Administration Manage day-to-day plant administration activities. Oversee security, housekeeping, canteen, transportation, facility management and employee welfare services. Coordinate with vendors and service providers for plant facilities. Manage employee/visitor movement and plant access control. Ensure cleanliness,
safety-related administrative requirements and overall workplace discipline. Manage plant-related administrative expenses and vendor coordination. Support plant events, employee activities and welfare initiatives. HR Operations Coordinate with HR for manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding and employee documentation. Monitor attendance, leave and shift-related issues. Provide payroll inputs related to attendance, overtime, incentives and deductions. Maintain HR/IR MIS and regularly report workforce-related information to management.
Key Requirements Bachelor's/Master's degree in HR, Labour Welfare, Industrial Relations, Social Work or related field. 1-4 years of experience in Industrial Relations / Plant HR / Factory HR. Experience in manufacturing, automobile, auto-component, engineering or EV industry preferred. Strong exposure to workmen/blue-collar workforce management. Experience in labour compliance, grievance handling and disciplinary matters. Exposure to contract labour management and plant administration. Positive communication, negotiation and employee-handling skills. Ability to work closely with production and operations teams.
Preferred Experience Candidates from automobile, auto-component, engineering, manufacturing or EV plants with hands-on experience in IR, workmen management and plant administration will be preferred.
Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
