About the Role

Gateway Engineers Academy is looking for passionate and experienced Competitive Exams Tutors to join our academic team in Salem.

We are looking for candidates who have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to guide aspirants preparing for various government, technical, engineering, and competitive examinations.

Candidates from any relevant educational or technical background are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct engaging and effective classroom sessions for competitive examination aspirants.

Teach concepts clearly and simplify difficult topics for students.

Prepare and deliver structured lessons, study materials, practice questions, and mock tests.

Guide students with examination strategies, problem-solving techniques, and time management.

Conduct regular tests, assessments, revision sessions, and doubt-clearing classes.

Monitor student performance and provide constructive academic feedback.

Identify students' learning gaps and provide appropriate guidance.

Stay updated with relevant examination patterns, syllabi, and question trends.

Maintain effective communication with students and the academic team.

Create an interactive and positive classroom learning environment.

Support the academy in developing quality academic content and learning resources.

Eligibility & Requirements





Bachelor's degree in B.E./B.Tech or a relevant field.

Minimum 1 years of teaching/training experience.

Candidates with experience preparing for or attending competitive/technical examinations are preferred.

Strong subject knowledge in one or more relevant competitive-exam subjects.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Good teaching, mentoring, and classroom-management abilities.

Ability to explain concepts in a simple, clear, and engaging manner.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Passion for teaching and mentoring competitive-exam aspirants.

Who Can Apply?

Candidates from any relevant engineering, technical, academic, or competitive-examination background can apply.

Experience related to examinations such as TNPSC, TRB, TNEB, SSC, RRB, GATE, AE/JE examinations, and other government or technical competitive examinations will be an advantage.
