About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized Event Intern to support the planning and execution of events, recitals, workshops, school programs, and other activities conducted by Furtados School of Music.

The intern will work closely with the Events, Operations, and Centre teams to ensure events are coordinated and executed smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in planning and coordinating events, recitals, workshops, and school programs.
- Coordinate with teachers, students, parents, vendors, and internal teams.
- Assist with event registrations, guest lists, schedules, and attendance.
- Support venue setup, event-day arrangements, and coordination.
- Assist with props, instruments, event materials, and other logistical requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and external partners when required.
- Help manage event timelines and ensure activities are completed as planned.
- Provide on-ground support during events and troubleshoot basic operational requirements.
- Maintain event-related documents, trackers, and reports.




- Assist the team with post-event feedback and documentation.
- Take up other event-related tasks as required.

Skills & Requirements

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong coordination and organizational abilities.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good attention to detail.
- Comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets and basic documentation.
- Willingness to work on-ground during events, including weekends or extended hours when required.
- Freshers and candidates with prior event/internship experience are welcome.

Preferred Background
