Job Summary

Job Summary Maintain a safe, reliable and roadworthy EV two-wheeler fleet by completing inspections, preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, repairs and breakdown support within defined service levels. The role protects fleet uptime, rider safety and asset life.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct pre-deployment, periodic and return inspections covering brakes, tyres, suspension, lights, wiring, connectors, charger, motor, controller and vehicle structure.

- Perform preventive maintenance as per OEM schedule and company checklist; flag vehicles due for service before they become unavailable.

- Diagnose electrical, electronic and mechanical faults using safe isolation procedures, multimeter, diagnostic applications and approved service tools.

- Handle batteries, chargers and swapping interfaces safely; quarantine damaged, overheated, wet, swollen or abnormal units and escalate immediately.

- Attend field breakdowns, carry out safe on-site repairs where permitted and arrange towing or workshop movement when a vehicle cannot be safely released.

- Complete road tests and final quality checks before marking a vehicle fit for deployment; never release an unsafe or incompletely repaired vehicle.

- Create accurate digital job cards with fault, diagnosis, work performed, parts used, timestamps, photos and closure status during the same shift.





- Control assigned tools and spares; link every issue/return to a job card, preserve failed parts for warranty and report shortages promptly.

- Coordinate with OEMs and service vendors for warranty repairs, software/firmware support and recurring technical issues.

- Guide riders on daily checks, charging/swap discipline, protected vehicle use and early reporting of symptoms or damage.

Required Skills

- ITI or Diploma in Electrician, Electrical/Electronics, Automobile, Mechatronics or a relevant technical trade; certified EV training is preferred.

- 1-3 years of hands-on two-wheeler service experience. Direct EV two-wheeler, battery, charger or last-mile fleet experience is strongly preferred.

- Working knowledge of wiring diagrams, continuity/voltage testing, connectors, sensors, controller/motor faults, brakes, tyres and suspension.

- Able to use a smartphone, service application, WhatsApp and simple digital forms; basic Hindi or English plus the local language.

- Valid two-wheeler driving licence and comfort riding customer/fleet vehicles for road tests; willing to travel locally and work assigned rosters.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
