Role Description The EV Service Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Coimbatore. This role involves performing routine and preventive maintenance on electric vehicles, diagnosing issues, and carrying out mechanical and electrical repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation. The EV Service Technician will conduct vehicle inspections, use diagnostic tools to identify faults, and document service activities according to company standards.

Day-to-day responsibilities include responding to service requests, supporting field service operations when needed, coordinating with the service team and parts department, and providing clear, qualified communication to customers regarding service findings and recommendations. The role also involves adhering to safety protocols,



maintaining a clean and organized work area, and staying updated on EV technologies and service procedures.

Qualifications

ITI / Diploma automotive, Mech, EEE, ECE

Fresher preferable

- Strong Maintenance & Repair skills, including routine servicing and corrective maintenance for electric vehicles.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques for mechanical, electrical, and electronic vehicle systems.
- Experience in Field Service operations, including on-site inspections, repairs, and customer visits as required.
- Solid Customer Service skills to communicate clearly, manage expectations, and ensure a positive service experience.
- Ability to perform general Maintenance tasks such as inspections, testing, and documentation in line with safety standards.
- Diploma or certificate in automobile engineering, electrical engineering, or related field; EV-specific training is an advantage.
- Familiarity with EV components, battery systems, and relevant tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, and ability to work both independently and as part of a service team.
- Basic computer skills for using service software, maintaining records, and reporting.
