About the Role

KKrushna Infra Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a Tendering & Estimation Engineer with solid experience in industrial construction, civil works, EPC, or infrastructure contracting. The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete tendering and estimation cycle, from project opportunity identification and quantity estimation to tender submission, commercial negotiations, and tender-to-order conversion.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, costing, rate analysis, tendering, commercial finalisation, and project profitability analysis, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end tendering and estimation for industrial construction and infrastructure projects.
- Study tender documents, drawings, specifications, scope of work, and contractual requirements.
- Prepare and review BOQs, quantity take-offs, detailed estimates, rate analysis, and project costing.
- Prepare competitive and commercially viable quotations and tender proposals.
- Obtain and analyse quotations from vendors and subcontractors and evaluate commercial offers.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for technical and commercial clarifications.
- Prepare and submit tenders within defined timelines and ensure all required documents are complete and accurate.
- Participate in commercial negotiations, rate discussions, and finalisation of commercial terms.
- Identify and evaluate new industrial project opportunities and support the business development team.
- Take ownership of the tender-to-order process, including follow-ups, negotiations,



and order conversion.
- Support project teams in cost control, budget monitoring, variations, extra items, rate revisions, and commercial matters.
- Prepare project-wise costing, margin, profitability, and commercial analysis for management review.
- Track tender status, maintain tender databases, and prepare regular management reports.
- Analyse project requirements and identify potential cost, commercial, and execution risks during the estimation stage.
- Coordinate with execution and procurement teams to ensure estimated costs are aligned with actual project requirements.
- Maintain proper records of tender documents, estimates, quotations, BOQs, rate analysis, and commercial correspondence.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of Civil Estimation & Costing.
- Hands-on experience in Tendering and Bid Management.
- Expertise in BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, rate analysis, and costing.
- Understanding of industrial buildings, civil works, RCC, structural works, and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of vendor/subcontractor quotation analysis and commercial negotiations.
- Strong understanding of project margins, profitability, cost control, and variations.
- Good coordination and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and follow-up skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple tenders and meet submission deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and estimation/costing tools.





Preferred Candidate Profile

- Experience with an established Industrial Construction, EPC, Infrastructure Contracting, or Civil Construction company is preferred.
- Candidates with strong exposure to industrial sheds, factories, warehouses, commercial/industrial buildings, and civil infrastructure projects will be preferred.
- Should have hands-on experience managing the complete tendering and estimation lifecycle.
- Candidates who have experience in tender negotiation and tender-to-order conversion will be an advantage.

Education & Experience

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

Experience: Approximately 15 years of relevant experience in tendering, estimation, costing, and commercial functions within industrial construction, EPC, infrastructure, or civil contracting.
