:-Erection & Commissioning Engineer – FGD Project

Project: Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) Project

Industry: Thermal Power Plant / Power Sector

Location: Kahalgaon / Patratu / Other FGD Project Sites

Experience: 5–8 Years

Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering

Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and supervise FGD equipment erection, installation, alignment, and commissioning activities at site.
- Coordinate erection activities as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
- Supervise installation of FGD equipment such as absorber, slurry pumps, agitators, limestone handling system, gypsum dewatering system, ducts, dampers, piping, tanks, and associated equipment.
- Ensure proper equipment alignment, leveling, grouting, bolting, welding, and fit-up as per approved procedures.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, C&I;, QA/QC, and safety teams for smooth execution.
- Monitor pre-commissioning activities including flushing, hydro testing, pressure testing, equipment inspection, trial runs, and system readiness.
- Support cold commissioning, hot commissioning, equipment trials, and performance testing.
- Identify site issues, coordinate with engineering/vendor teams, and ensure timely resolution.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, inspection reports,



checklists, punch points, and commissioning records.
- Ensure work is executed according to project specifications, quality standards, safety procedures, and approved schedules.
- Coordinate with client/PSU representatives, subcontractors, and vendors during erection and commissioning activities.
- Monitor manpower, tools, equipment, and materials required for project execution.
- Ensure timely completion of mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover activities.

Required Skills
- Good knowledge of FGD systems and thermal power plant equipment.
- Hands-on experience in erection, commissioning, troubleshooting, and site execution.
- Ability to read and understand GA drawings, P&IDs;, equipment drawings, and technical documents.
- Strong coordination and site-management skills.
- Knowledge of PTW, LOTO, work permits, and industrial safety practices.
- Ability to work in a PSU / thermal power plant project workplace.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in FGD projects, thermal power plants, BHEL projects, or large-scale industrial erection and commissioning projects will be preferred.

Required: Immediate Joiner / Short Notice Candidates Preferred.

Pay: ₹10,220.27 - ₹35,000.00 per month
