Core Responsibilities

1. Compliance & Regulations: Enforce local and national statutory standards, such as the Factories Act, OSHA, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
2. Audits & Inspections: Perform daily safety walks, weekly plant audits, and check Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance
3. Shop-Floor Risk Assessment: Conduct Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for high-risk processes like stamping, welding, material handling zones and assembly.
4. Permit-to-Work (PTW) Management: Enforce secure systems for critical tasks, including Hot Work, Work at Height, Confined Space Entry, and Electrical Maintenance.
5. Machine & Electrical Safety: Monitor machine guarding, emergency stops, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols specific to heavy automotive machinery.

Incident Investigation: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for accidents, injuries, and near-miss events, establishing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
7. Statutory Compliance: Ensure routine adherence to factory safety laws, hazardous waste handling rules, and Pollution Control Board norms.
8. Audit & Inspection: Perform daily safety walks, weekly plant audits, and check Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance.
9. Training & Drills: Organize safety orientations, proper PPE usage protocols, and organize periodic fire and evacuation mock drills.Role & responsibilities
