Role Description The Environment Engineer will support on-site construction projects in Ahmedabad by implementing environmental standards, monitoring compliance with regulations, and advising project teams on sustainable practices. This full-time, on-site role includes conducting environmental impact assessments, overseeing waste management and wastewater treatment processes, and coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to address environmental issues. Daily responsibilities include collecting and analyzing environmental data, preparing reports and documentation for regulatory authorities, supporting environmental audits, and recommending mitigation measures to reduce project-related impacts.

The Setting

Engineer will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives,



training site staff on environmental best practices, and ensuring that all activities align with applicable local and national environmental guidelines.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Compliance and Environmental Consulting to interpret regulations, guide project teams, and prepare necessary documentation.
- Candidates should possess skills in Environmental Impact Assessment to evaluate project activities, identify risks, and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Candidates should possess skills in Waste Management and Wastewater Treatment to design, implement, and monitor systems that manage construction-related waste and effluents responsibly.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering with specialization in environmental studies, or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of Indian environmental regulations, standards, and permitting processes, particularly those applicable to construction and infrastructure projects.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and documentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in construction or infrastructure projects, familiarity with environmental monitoring tools, and proficiency with basic computer applications and technical software are beneficial.
