Position: Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) – English

Location: Sangamam Matriculation School - Rathinapuri

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced PGT English Teacher to teach English language and literature, develop students’ communication skills, and support their overall academic development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach English language and literature to higher secondary/college-level students.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, and communication skills.
- Conduct classroom activities, discussions, presentations, and examinations.
- Evaluate student performance and maintain academic records.
- Provide academic guidance and individual support to students.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
- Participate in departmental meetings, academic activities, workshops, and institutional events.
- Maintain a positive, professional,



and disciplined learning environment.

Eligibility & Qualifications:

- Master’s Degree (M.A. English) from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred/required as per applicable norms.
- NET/SLET/SET qualification preferred where applicable.
- Robust command of spoken and written English.
- Good communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Previous teaching experience at the PGT/higher-secondary level will be an advantage.

Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of teaching experience preferred.
