Job Summary

Microsoft Purview Compliance Specialist - We are seeking a skilled and motivated Microsoft Purview Compliance Specialist to join our technical team. In this role, you will be responsible for addressing and resolving customer challenges related to data protection, compliance, and governance within Microsoft 365. This position is ideal for individuals with foundational Microsoft 365 experience who are eager to expand their expertise in compliance technologies and assist organizations in meeting regulatory, privacy, and risk management requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate directly with customers to understand their business, regulatory, and data protection requirements.

- Translate customer needs into Microsoft Purview use cases and recommend appropriate configurations.

- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Microsoft Purview Compliance solutions, including Information Protection, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), eDiscovery, Insider Risk Management, Information Barriers, and Communication Compliance.

- Design and execute tailored PoC engagements based on customer needs.

- Conduct hands-on demonstrations of Microsoft Purview capabilities, validate use-case fit, and document outcomes.

- Lead or support the end-to-end implementation of Microsoft Purview features, including policy creation, rule tuning, and role-based access configuration.

- Ensure deployments align with Microsoft-recommended best practices and meet organizational compliance objectives.

- Identify and resolve configuration issues or feature limitations during deployment.

- Analyze policy matches, false positives/negatives, and fine-tune DLP and other compliance features to enhance accuracy and effectiveness.





- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions or workshops for customer IT and compliance teams.

- Enable smooth adoption of Microsoft Purview tools and ensure ongoing operational maturity.

- Partner with internal teams, including Security Architects, Customer Success Managers, and Product Teams, to align delivery with Microsoft's evolving roadmap and customer expectations.

Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in technical support, consulting, or Microsoft 365 administration, with exposure to security and compliance workloads.

- Skills and Technical Knowledge: Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft 365 architecture and administration.

- Hands-on familiarity with Microsoft Purview Compliance features, including: Information Protection (Manual and Automatic Labeling)
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Endpoint DLP; eDiscovery (Standard and Premium)
