Responsibilities The APAC Quality Engineer will be responsible to:

- Create and process Dock Audits
- Create and process PPAP documents
- Track and manage local supplier cycle times when requested
- Provide video reviews of new local suppliers when required
- Inspect PPAP samples at local suppliers
- Inspect Production parts per AQL at local suppliers
- Review documents and revert back to supplier when corrections needed
- 8D capability and application if needed
- Provide technical support as needed to supplier
- Work with supplier to build Gantt charts and robust Control Plans as required
- Join Teams meetings as required – Huddles
- Report dock audit activities to engineering team
- Perform supplier and process audits as required in local area




- Schedule inspections in areas outside of local area
- Perform document control tasks, such as print control

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineer degree
- 2-5 years’ experience/training with metrology equipment such as CMM, height gauge, profilometer, mics, etc.
- Mini-tab experience preferred
- Quality Inspection experience required
- Up to 50% travel may be required to visit supplier locations for in office inspections, ensuring parts meet quality standards and specifications.
