Reporting To: Manager – Procurement

Qualification: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: Minimum 4 years

CTC: Approximately ₹6 LPA

Role Purpose

We are looking for a Procurement Engineer with experience in fabricated components and structural assemblies. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring fabricated components from approved vendors while ensuring technical compliance, quality standards, cost effectiveness and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Procure fabricated components and welded assemblies as per engineering drawings.

Evaluate and develop fabrication vendors based on technical capability and capacity.

Coordinate with Design, Production and Quality teams for technical clarifications.

Release fabrication purchase orders and monitor manufacturing progress.

Follow up regularly with vendors to ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate inspections before dispatch.

Resolve fabrication-related technical issues in consultation with Design and QA teams.

Develop alternate and recent fabrication vendors.





Ensure timely availability of fabricated parts for production.

Maintain procurement records and ERP documentation.

Negotiate with vendors regarding price, delivery and other commercial terms.
