About the RoleWe are looking for a proactive and people-oriented Employee Relations (ER) Intern to join our HR team.
This internship is designed for candidates who want to understand how organizations manage employee engagement, workplace communication, grievances, employee experience, HR policies, conflict resolution, and internal coordination.
The selected intern will work closely with the HR/ER team and gain practical exposure to employee-related processes in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities1.
Employee
Engagement
- Assist the HR team in planning and executing employee engagement activities.
- Support virtual employee engagement initiatives for remote teams.
- Collect employee feedback and engagement inputs.
- Assist in identifying employee engagement gaps and improvement areas.
- Maintain records of engagement activities and participation.
2.
Employee
Communication
- Support HR in communicating important announcements, policies, activities, and updates.
- Help maintain smooth communication between employees and the HR team.
- Assist in preparing internal communication drafts.
- Follow up with employees for HR-related information when required.
3.
Employee Grievance
Support
- Assist the HR team in documenting employee concerns and grievances.
- Maintain appropriate grievance records and trackers.
- Coordinate with relevant HR personnel for resolution follow-ups.
- Ensure employee concerns are routed to the appropriate authority.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee-related information.
4.
Employee
Experience
- Assist in collecting employee feedback regarding workplace experience.
- Support onboarding and post-onboarding employee experience initiatives.
- Help conduct employee satisfaction/feedback surveys.
- Identify recurring employee concerns and prepare basic reports for the HR team.
5. HR Documentation & Tracking
- Maintain ER-related trackers and documentation.
- Update employee engagement and grievance records.
- Assist in preparing weekly/monthly ER reports.
- Maintain proper documentation of employee interactions and activities.
- Support HR audits and documentation requirements whenever required.
6.
Conflict Resolution
Support
- Learn and assist the HR team in handling workplace conflicts.
- Support fact collection and documentation under HR supervision.
- Help coordinate discussions between relevant stakeholders where instructed.
- Maintain neutrality, professionalism, and confidentiality while handling employee concerns.
7. Policy & Compliance Learning
- Understand basic HR policies and employee relations practices.
- Assist in communicating HR policies to employees.
- Support HR in identifying policy-related queries raised by employees.
- Gain practical exposure to workplace ethics, code of conduct, POSH awareness, disciplinary processes, and HR best practices.
8. HR Coordination
- Coordinate with HR Generalists, HR Managers, Recruiters, and other HR team members.
- Participate in HR meetings and discussions.
- Maintain assigned ER action items.
- Follow up on pending employee-related activities.
- Escalate sensitive or critical matters to the appropriate HR authority.

- Pursuing or have completed BBA, B.Com, MBA/PGDM in HR, Psychology, HRM, or a related field.
- Interested in building a career in Human Resources.
- Strong in verbal and written communication.

- Good at maintaining confidentiality.
- Empathetic and approachable.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Good at follow-ups and documentation.
- Comfortable working remotely.

Freshers Are WelcomeCandidates with 0–1 year of experience can apply. Prior internship experience in HR, employee engagement, recruitment,
or HR operations will be an advantage but is not mandatory.
