Responsibilities

EMC Testing

- Prepare EMC test setups according to the approved setup documents.

- Perform testing in accordance with the Test Plan and applicable test specifications.

- Prepare accurate and complete test reports.

- Maintain test setups, DUTs (Devices Under Test), accessories, instruments, and peripherals.

- Perform all assigned activities as per Bgsw shift requirements, including Morning, Night, and Late Night shifts.

- Support troubleshooting and resolution of EMC test setup-related issues.

- Ensure proper handling and maintenance of test equipment, accessories, and peripherals.

Inwards Goods Receipt and Other Testing Activities

- Check accessories and instruments received after calibration for completeness, physical condition, and accuracy.

- Ensure proper handling, usage, and storage of Devices Under Test (DUTs), instruments, accessories, and other laboratory equipment.

- Verify calibration reports and communicate with the Calibration Responsible person if any non-conformance is identified.

- Perform intermediate performance checks of instruments and accessories as per defined procedures.

- Prepare reports and maintain appropriate documentation for intermediate performance checks.

- Verify instruments in accordance with the stated methods and procedures and prepare the required reports.

- Maintain and ensure the readiness of test setups.





- Support the EMC PR in the completion and preparation of test reports.

- Ensure compliance with applicable laboratory procedures, quality requirements, and safety guidelines.

- Hands-on knowledge of automotive EMC standards and good understanding of EMC fundamentals.

- Basic communication skills.

- Basic soldering skills.

- Good knowledge of hardware, including passive and active components, RF, digital, and analog circuits.

- Basic understanding of RF and EMC instrumentation, including:

- Oscilloscopes

- Spectrum Analyzers

- EMI Receivers

- Other relevant RF test equipment

- Ability to interpret applicable standards and OEM specifications.

- Basic understanding of conducting automotive EMC tests.

- Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve EMC test setup issues.
