Develop and maintain embedded software solutions for communication and data management systems within gateways.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and test embedded software for gateway devices.
- Develop solutions based on the RDK-B platform.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to ensure system integration.
- Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues related to embedded systems.
- Write technical documentation and software specifications.
- Participate in code reviews and integration testing.
Requirements :
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with RDK-B platform.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++.
- Proficiency in Linux system programming, multithreading, and IPC mechanisms.
- Experience with CCSP, HAL, and Yocto build systems.
- In-depth understanding of networking protocols - TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, IPv4/IPv6.
- Hands-on with tools such as Wireshark, Gerrit, Jenkins, and Git.
- Exposure to DOCSIS, GPON, LTE/5G, Ethernet, prpl, Gstreamer and Wi-Fi 802.11 standards.
- Robust analytical and problem-solving abilities with effective communication skills.
