Embedded Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Engineer with strong experience in Android, C++, NDK, IoT, camera technologies, OpenCV, and USB/UVC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and integrating embedded software solutions for IoT and camera-based products, with exposure to backend development. Experience with AI/Computer Vision will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain embedded software for IoT and camera-based products.

Develop high-performance applications using C++ and Android NDK.





Work with Android platform components, native APIs, and system-level programming.

Develop and integrate camera solutions using USB/UVC protocols.

Work with OpenCV for image processing and computer vision applications.

Develop and debug device-level communication and integration solutions.

Integrate embedded devices with backend systems and cloud-based services.

Develop and maintain backend components/APIs required for IoT device communication.

Troubleshoot performance, connectivity, memory, and hardware-software integration issues.

Collaborate with hardware, firmware, backend, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Participate in design discussions, code reviews, testing, debugging, and documentation.

Required Skills

Robust programming experience in C++.

Hands-on experience with Android development and Android NDK.

Experience working with Embedded/IoT products.

Strong understanding of USB and UVC (USB Video Class).

Experience with camera integration and camera-related applications.

Hands-on experience with OpenCV and image/video processing.

Understanding of Linux/Android system programming and debugging.

Experience with backend development, REST APIs, or device-to-server communication.

Positive understanding of software development, debugging, and version-control practices such as Git.

Preferred Industry Background

Candidates from mobile application companies or product-based organizations will be preferred.
