Role Description The Elevator Mechanic role at Bharath School Of Vertical Transportation is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Elevator

Mechanic will perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on elevator systems to ensure safe, reliable operation. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting faults, replacing or adjusting components, and performing preventive maintenance according to safety and compliance standards. The role also involves documenting work performed, coordinating with supervisors and other technical staff,



and supporting training activities by demonstrating best practices to learners when required.

The Elevator

Mechanic is expected to uphold safety protocols, follow manufacturer guidelines, and contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance processes.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Elevator Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair, with the ability to perform routine servicing and component replacement.
- Hands-on experience working with Elevators, including installation support, inspection, and system testing.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults to quickly identify and resolve issues.
- Solid understanding of Electricity related to elevator systems, including safe work practices and basic wiring and control circuits.
- Relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical, mechanical, or vertical transportation disciplines.
- Knowledge of safety standards, codes, and regulations applicable to elevator operations.
- Ability to read technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics, and maintain transparent service records.
- Good communication skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work both independently and as part of a technical team.
- Previous experience as an elevator mechanic or technician in building services or vertical transportation is an advantage.
