Job Summary

Vikarta Herbals is looking for a skilled and responsible Electrician to handle electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and routine inspection of electrical systems and equipment within the manufacturing facility.

The candidate should have good practical knowledge of industrial electrical systems and be able to identify and resolve electrical issues safely and efficiently.

- Perform electrical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of machinery and electrical equipment.
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, switches, sockets, panels, motors, and control systems.
- Monitor electrical systems and identify faults or abnormalities.
- Troubleshoot electrical breakdowns and attend to maintenance requirements promptly.
- Carry out preventive and routine electrical maintenance of machines and equipment.
- Check electrical panels, MCBs, MCCs, contactors, relays, cables, and connections.
- Support electrical maintenance during machine installation, modification, and shifting.
- Inspect motors, pumps, control panels, and other electrical equipment regularly.
- Handle basic wiring and electrical connections as required.
- Ensure proper earthing and safe electrical connections.
- Coordinate with the Machine Operator and Production/Operations team during machine-related electrical issues.
- Maintain basic records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns, and repairs.
- Ensure availability and proper handling of electrical tools, spare parts,



and maintenance materials.
- Follow electrical safety procedures and company safety guidelines.
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out safely to prevent accidents, equipment damage, and production downtime.
- Immediately report major electrical faults, unsafe conditions, or equipment damage to the concerned authority.
- Support emergency breakdown maintenance whenever required.
- Follow GMP, workplace safety, housekeeping, and company discipline requirements.
- Perform other electrical maintenance duties assigned by the Management.

Requirements
- ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in electrical maintenance preferred.
- Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical wiring, panels, motors, switches, MCBs, contactors, and basic control systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical problems independently.
- Basic knowledge of industrial electrical safety.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Responsible, disciplined, and safety-conscious.
