We are currently looking for an Engineer Maintenance for a leading automotive manufacturing organization in Chennai.

Position Details

- Position: Electrical Maintenance Engineer C License MUST
- Location: Chennai
- Department: Maintenance
- Experience: 5 to 8 Years
- Qualification: Diploma in Electrical / Electronics Engineering
- Industry Preference: Automobile / Manufacturing

Job Responsibilities
- Handle preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of hydraulic presses, brake lining mixing machines, conveyors and material-handling equipment.
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems.
- Ensure maximum machine availability and minimize downtime.
- Prepare and implement preventive and autonomous maintenance programs.
- Maintain plant utilities including air compressors, cooling towers, chillers, DG sets and electrical distribution systems.
- Monitor equipment performance and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis for recurring equipment failures.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures,



machine guarding, safety interlocks and LOTO requirements.
- Support TPM, Lean Manufacturing and energy-conservation initiatives.
- Manage maintenance spares and ensure availability of critical spares.
- Train employees on machine maintenance and safety.
- Coordinate statutory requirements and liaison with relevant government agencies when required.
