Position Title: Electrical Engineer

Role Overview The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical and automation systems within an industrial environment. The role requires hands-on involvement in ensuring reliable plant operations, improving system efficiency, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, test, and commission electrical equipment and systems in accordance with engineering standards.
- Supervision of installation and commissioning of 11 kV HT Panels, RMU, Transformers, VCB, ACB, and associated equipment.
- Review and verification of electrical drawings, SLD, GA drawings, schematic diagrams, and cable schedules.
- Ensure proper cable termination for HT/LT power and control cables.
- Monitoring of electrical load and system performance.
- Testing and commissioning of: Protection relays, CT/PT circuits, Breakers and interlocks etc.




- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in a timely and effective manner.
- Monitor and maintain power distribution systems, including high and low voltage equipment.
- Work with control systems such as PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA for process automation and monitoring.
- Interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documents for execution of projects and maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support production and operational requirements.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, system performance, and equipment history.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Relevant experience in industrial or manufacturing environments preferred.
