: Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Electrical Engineer to manage electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, and preventive maintenance activities across the plant. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and protected operation of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of plant machinery and equipment.
- Ensure smooth operation of electrical systems, panels, motors, pumps, compressors, and other electrical equipment.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance as per the maintenance schedule.
- Identify electrical faults and take corrective action to minimize machine downtime.
- Monitor and maintain HT/LT panels, MCC panels, DBs, control panels, DG sets, transformers, and electrical distribution systems.
- Supervise electrical installation, modification, and commissioning work.
- Maintain proper records of electrical maintenance, breakdowns, spare parts, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with production and other departments for maintenance requirements.
- Ensure availability and proper usage of electrical spare parts and tools.
- Monitor electricity consumption and identify opportunities for energy saving.
- Ensure proper earthing, electrical safety, and protection systems are maintained.
- Conduct regular inspection of electrical installations and identify potential safety hazards.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and company safety procedures.




- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for electrical work when required.
- Assist in electrical audits, inspections, and statutory requirements.
- Maintain electrical drawings, equipment manuals, maintenance reports, and documentation.
- Guide and supervise electricians and maintenance technicians.
- Ensure all electrical work is carried out safely and with proper authorization.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance.
- Knowledge of motors, starters, VFDs, PLCs, control panels, sensors, and electrical circuits.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Good knowledge of electrical safety practices.
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good coordination and team-management skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and maintenance documentation.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond to emergency breakdowns.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in industrial/manufacturing plant maintenance preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
