Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed electrical design drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.

- Develop electrical layouts for commercial, residential, industrial, and other building projects.

- Prepare:

- Lighting layouts

- Power layouts

- Small power layouts
- Cable tray and containment layouts

- Electrical room layouts
- Single-line diagrams (SLDs)

- Distribution board schedules

- Electrical schematic diagrams

- Emergency lighting layouts
- Perform electrical load calculations and prepare load schedules.

- Carry out cable sizing, voltage-drop calculations, and selection of electrical equipment.

- Prepare electrical drawings based on project specifications, design requirements, and applicable standards.

- Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other MEP services.

- Identify and resolve clashes and coordination issues between various services.





- Review architectural and structural drawings to ensure accurate electrical design development.

- Prepare detailed construction/shop drawings and incorporate design revisions.

- Prepare material take-offs, BOQs, and equipment schedules as required.

- Review drawings for design accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.

- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal design teams.

- Ensure timely completion of design deliverables in accordance with project schedules.

- Maintain proper drawing standards, layer conventions, title blocks, revisions, and documentation.

- Support senior engineers/design managers in design development and project coordination.
