Job Summary

We are looking for a talented and motivated Electrical BIM Modeler to join our BIM team.The ideal candidate should have experience in Electrical BIM modeling using Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks, with the ability to prepare coordinated models, shop drawings, and construction documentation while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Electrical BIM models using Autodesk Revit.

Prepare Electrical BIM models from LOD 300 to LOD 400 in accordance with project BIM standards.

Model electrical systems including

o Cable Trays o Bus Ducts o Conduits o Lighting Systems o Power Distribution o Fire Alarm Systems o Data & ELV Systems o Electrical Equipment

 Create and modify Revit families based on project and manufacturer requirements.

 Produce coordinated shop drawings, sections, schedules, and detailed construction documentation.

 Perform multidisciplinary BIM coordination using Navisworks.

 Identify, review, and resolve hard and soft clashes with Mechanical, Plumbing, Fire

Protection, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.

 Prepare electrical layouts including lighting, power, earthing, and containment systems.

 Maintain BIM standards, templates, naming conventions, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.





 Coordinate with project engineers, BIM Coordinators, and design teams to ensure timely project delivery.

 Ensure compliance with client specifications, project quality standards, and company

BIM execution plans.

Required Skills

 Strong knowledge of Electrical Building Services.

 Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical).

 Good working knowledge of AutoCAD.

 Experience with Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination.

 Understanding of BIM workflows and LOD standards.

 Ability to interpret electrical drawings and specifications.

 Experience in preparing shop drawings and coordinated models.

 Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

 Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualification

 Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or Electrician Trade.

 Certification in BIM/Revit will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

 2–4 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler.

 Experience working on residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare, hospitality, or infrastructure projects.

 Exposure to international BIM standards and multidisciplinary coordination is preferred.
