Implement the platform capabilities that enable disparate data sources to be combined, virtualized, standardized, and exposed through a consistent access model without requiring extensive physical consolidation.
Experience with technologies and platforms such as (Any one - from each bullet point):
- Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Purview
- BigQuery, BigLake, Dataplex
- Redshift Spectrum, Lake Formation, Glue
- Data virtualization, federated query, semantic layer, or data fabric platforms
Responsible For:
- Implementing data virtualization and federation capabilities
- Building federated query services
- Developing semantic and abstraction layers
- Creating reusable APIs and access services
- Performance tuning, scalability, reliability, and operational support
- Contributing to platform design and technology decisions through hands-on expertise
