About the Role

WIN Education India is looking for a motivated and student-focused Education Counsellor to join our Srinagar team. The role involves counselling students and parents, understanding their study-abroad goals, providing accurate guidance on universities and courses, and supporting students throughout the application process.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students and parents regarding study-abroad opportunities, universities, courses, and entry requirements.

Understand students’ academic backgrounds, career goals, and preferences to provide suitable guidance.

Assist students with university selection, applications, documentation, and admission processes.

Handle student and parent queries professionally through in-person, phone, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.

Maintain regular follow-ups with students and ensure timely progress of applications.

Coordinate with universities, internal teams, and relevant stakeholders for applications and admissions.

Maintain accurate student records and update enquiries/applications in the CRM or relevant systems.

Support students with general guidance related to visa documentation and pre-departure preparation.

Participate in education fairs, seminars, school/college visits,



and other student recruitment activities when required.

Achieve agreed activity and recruitment targets while maintaining a high standard of student service.

Requirements

1+ year of relevant experience in education counselling, study abroad, admissions, or a related field is preferred.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Good knowledge of study-abroad destinations and international education.

Ability to communicate confidently with students and parents.

Strong follow-up, organisational, and relationship-management skills.

Comfortable working in an onsite office workplace in Srinagar.

Freshers with strong communication skills and a genuine interest in international education may also be considered.
