Job Profile: Education & Outreach Coordinator

Location: Navi Mumbai (Preferred)

Experience: 2 years minimum

Position Type: Full time (Field and Desk Work Balanced)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Education & Outreach Coordinator to plan and deliver nature-based programs, engage with volunteers and community members, and promote our initiatives through digital platforms. This role offers an exciting mix of fieldwork and office responsibilities to support environmental education and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Program Design and Delivery: Plan, organize, and execute environmental education events, workshops, and campaigns.
- Community and Volunteer Engagement: Work closely with community members and volunteers; nurture partnerships and encourage public participation.
- Digital Outreach: Manage social media accounts and website updates; create event promotions and storytelling content.
- Content Creation: Prepare monthly newsletters, success stories, program highlights, and project reports.
- Database Management: Maintain a single master database for programme participants, volunteers and interns.





Qualifications:

- Education and Experience:
- B.Sc. in Life Sciences (Botany, Zoology, Environmental Science, Ecology, or related fields) with 3 years of experience, or M.Sc. in Life Sciences with 2 years of experience.
- Proven background in environmental education, volunteer management, and community-based programs.
- Skills:
- Event planning and public engagement.
- Proficiency in managing social media and basic website operations.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Good command over database handling and report writing.
