Role Description The Edtech Placement Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role is responsible for designing and leading placement strategies for learners across multiple programs, ensuring strong employment outcomes and sustained industry relationships. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and onboarding hiring partners, managing corporate outreach, coordinating placement drives, and collaborating with program and academic teams to align curriculum with market needs.

The role oversees placement operations, tracks performance metrics, and implements process improvements to enhance learner readiness and employer satisfaction.

and represent the organization in external forums and partnership meetings.

Qualifications

- Solid experience in placement management, career services, or talent acquisition, preferably within edtech, higher education, or corporate hiring environments.
- Proven capability in building and managing industry partnerships and employer networks, with a track record of successful placements at scale.
- Skills in strategic planning, program design, and operations management, including the ability to set targets, define processes, and monitor KPIs.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with learners, employers, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience, including mentoring, performance oversight, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Familiarity with edtech platforms, digital tools for placement tracking, and contemporary hiring practices across technology and non-technology roles.
- Ability to analyze labor market trends and translate industry requirements into learner readiness initiatives and placement strategies.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience; prior experience in a director or senior management role is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Education, Human Resources, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or MBA is an advantage.
