ABOUT THE BHARAT PERSPECTIVE The Bharat Perspective is a bilingual Hindi-English research-led magazine and digital knowledge platform focused on Government, PSUs, public policy, development, CSR, institutional performance and verified implementation stories.

Our focus is on credible research, analysis, leadership interviews, institutional case studies and evidence-based publications rather than conventional breaking news.

ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Editorial Director – Research & Publications to lead the editorial, research and publication functions of The Bharat Perspective.

The candidate should have strong proficiency in both Hindi and English, with excellent writing, editing and editorial-review skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead the overall editorial, research and publication strategy.
- Plan and supervise Hindi and English magazine content.
- Develop research-based stories, reports, analytical features and special publications.
- Cover Government programmes, PSUs, CSR, development initiatives and institutional impact.
- Conduct and review senior-level interviews and special features.
- Supervise researchers, writers, editors and contributors.
- Ensure fact-checking, source verification and editorial quality.
- Convert complex Government and policy information into clear and credible content.
- Maintain high standards of editorial independence and professional integrity.
- Coordinate with external experts and institutional stakeholders.





CANDIDATE PROFILE Candidates with relevant experience in the following areas will be preferred:
- Reputed media and publications
- Public policy and governance research
- Business or economic journalism
- Think tanks and research institutions
- Government/PSU-focused publications
- Development sector
- CSR/ESG research
- Institutional and policy communications

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
- 8–12 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Hindi and English with excellent writing and editing skills.
- Strong editorial judgement.
- Research and analytical capability.
- Understanding of Government, PSU and public-policy ecosystem.
- Robust fact-checking and source-verification skills.
- Team leadership and publication-management experience.
- Ability to handle senior-level interviews and institutional content.
- High standards of integrity and editorial discipline.

QUALIFICATION Postgraduate qualification preferred in Journalism, Mass Communication, Public Policy, Economics, Political Science, Development Studies, Public Administration, Social Sciences or related fields.

Exceptional professional experience may also be considered.
