The facility provides cost-effective, GLP-compliant data aligned with OECD GLP, ISO, AAALAC, and USFDA GLP (21 CFR Part 58) guidelines and is recognized as a center of excellence for OECD GLP toxicology services.

ERF’s 25,000 sq. ft. facility hosts integrated laboratories that support comprehensive preclinical safety and efficacy studies, with opportunities for sponsor engagement on-site. Expert scientists design both in vitro and in vivo studies to reduce development time, control costs, and improve the success of research programs.

Role Description The Ecotoxicology Study Director is a full-time, on-site role based at ERF’s facility in Hyderabad. The role involves designing, planning, and directing ecotoxicology studies, including in vivo and other relevant experimental models, in accordance with GLP and international regulatory guidelines.

The Study

Director will oversee study protocols, coordinate laboratory activities, supervise data collection and analysis, and ensure scientific integrity and regulatory compliance. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing study timelines, leading cross-functional project teams, preparing and reviewing study reports,



and communicating study progress and outcomes to sponsors and internal stakeholders. The role also requires mentoring junior staff, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting continuous improvement of laboratory processes and quality systems.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills, including handling ecotoxicology test systems, sample preparation, and adherence to GLP-compliant procedures.
- Candidates should possess solid Research capabilities, including experimental design, data analysis, interpretation of results, and scientific report writing.
- Candidates should possess expertise in Toxicology, preferably ecotoxicology, with knowledge of OECD and other relevant international guidelines and regulatory requirements.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including planning, organizing, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and managing study timelines and deliverables.
- Candidates should possess experience in In Vivo studies, including designing, conducting, and overseeing animal-based experiments in line with ethical and regulatory standards.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Toxicology, Environmental Science, Pharmacology, or a related life science discipline is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for sponsor interactions, documentation, and regulatory communications.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional laboratory environment and lead study teams effectively.
