An institutionally-backed investment banking and securities firm is hiring a senior individual contributor to lead origination of ECM mandates, working closely with the Head - ECM.

Key responsibilities:

- Originate IPO, QIP, rights issue, OFS, preferential allotment and other equity / equity-linked mandates through relationships with corporates, promoters, PE / VC investors and family offices

- Lead client engagement through the transaction lifecycle - pitching, mandate negotiation and relationship stewardship

- Drive syndication and investor placement strategy - anchor investor identification, book-building coordination and syndicate desk relationships

- Build an active network of institutional investors, mutual funds, FPIs,



family offices and PE / VC funds through one-on-ones and roadshows

- Build pitch books, market positioning and transaction rationale

- Track primary market trends and competitor deal flow; hand off mandated deals smoothly to execution

- Mentor the junior team member and support pipeline reviews, MIS and business planning

- Execution and legal coordination are supported separately - hands-on drafting exposure is a positive-to-have, not core. Working familiarity with SEBI ICDR and LODR is expected.
