Role Description The DSE – EV (Dealer Sales Executive – Electric Vehicles) is a full time, on-site role based in New Delhi. This position is responsible for driving EV sales by engaging prospective customers, understanding their mobility requirements, and recommending suitable electric vehicle solutions from the VMT portfolio.

The role also involves coordinating test drives, maintaining accurate customer and sales records, collaborating with dealership and service teams, and providing post-sale follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction.

The DSE – EV will stay updated on EV technology, market trends, and competitor offerings to support informed customer conversations and meet assigned sales targets.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in automotive sales or EV-related sales, with the ability to understand and explain vehicle features, performance, and value.
- Strong customer relationship and communication skills, including the ability to engage diverse customers, identify needs, and provide consultative sales support.
- Basic understanding of electric vehicle technology, charging infrastructure, and total cost of ownership,



or a solid willingness to learn quickly.
- Solid organizational and documentation skills to manage leads, maintain CRM or sales records, and prepare accurate quotations and reports.
- Comfort working on-site in a dealership environment, with readiness to conduct field visits, test drives, and in-person customer meetings.
- Ability to work toward clear sales targets, handle negotiations professionally, and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Minimum educational qualification: Graduate degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education).
- Basic digital literacy, including use of email, spreadsheets, presentation tools, and mobile apps for sales and customer management.
- Fluency in English and Hindi; additional local language skills are an advantage.
- Prior exposure to commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, or EV products is preferred but not mandatory.
