We are looking for a Draughtsman Thermal Systems to prepare detailed engineering and fabrication drawings for boilers, thermal systems, pressure parts, piping, and related equipment. The candidate should have hands-on experience in AutoCAD and be able to understand engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.

Role & responsibilities

- Prepare 2D engineering, fabrication, and manufacturing drawings for boilers and thermal systems.
- Develop General Arrangement (GA), assembly, detail, and fabrication drawings.
- Prepare drawings for boiler components, pressure parts, piping, ducts, tanks, and structural items.
- Interpret engineering specifications, design calculations, sketches, and technical requirements.
- Prepare and modify AutoCAD drawings as per engineering and production requirements.
- Incorporate design changes and maintain updated drawing revisions.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Fabrication, Quality, and Project teams.
- Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and material-related details wherever required.




- Ensure drawings comply with applicable engineering standards and company requirements.
- Support the engineering team in resolving drawing-related issues during manufacturing and fabrication.

Preferred candidate profile

- Robust knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Good understanding of boiler and thermal system components.
- Knowledge of fabrication and manufacturing drawings.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of GA drawings, assembly drawings, detail drawings, and piping drawings.
- Basic understanding of P&ID; and piping layouts.
- Knowledge of pressure vessels / pressure parts is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of dimensions, tolerances, welding symbols, and fabrication details.

Educational Qualification:

- Diploma / ITI / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Candidates with relevant experience in boiler, thermal equipment, pressure vessel, or industrial fabrication will be preferred.
