Role Description The Director of Photography at Trendsetter Academy will oversee the visual production of educational video content, ensuring high-quality, engaging, and consistent visuals across all academy materials. This full time, on-site role in Ahmedabad involves planning and executing video shoots, collaborating closely with educators and creative teams to capture tutorials, demonstrations, and academy sessions. The Director of Photography will manage camera setups, lighting design, framing, and composition, while supervising production crews and maintaining equipment.

The role also includes coordinating with post-production teams, maintaining visual standards that align with the brand,



and adapting shooting styles to suit different educational formats and platforms.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Camera Operation and Camera handling, including proficiency with professional video and cinema cameras.
- Candidates should possess skills in Lighting design and control, with the ability to create consistent, studio-quality lighting for instructional content.
- Candidates should possess Video Production skills, including planning shoots, managing sets, and coordinating with production and post-production teams.
- Candidates should possess Cinematography skills, including composition, shot design, movement, and visual storytelling suited to educational content.
- Relevant experience in directing video shoots for education, beauty, fashion, or creative content, preferably in a studio or academy environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work closely with instructors, stylists, and creative staff on-site in Ahmedabad.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, maintain visual consistency, and meet production timelines.
- Formal training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial; a portfolio or showreel of prior work is highly preferred.
