Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled, creative, and experienced Director of Photography (DOP) to join the creative team at Arsh Sandhu Fitness & Kruverse.

The DOP will be responsible for translating concepts, stories, and brand visions into visually compelling content across fitness, lifestyle, personal branding, commercial, investment, and corporate shoots.

We are looking for someone who is not simply a camera operator, but a visual storyteller and creative contributor who actively brings ideas, perspective, and solutions to every production.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in cinematography, camera systems, lighting, framing, composition, movement, and visual storytelling, along with the confidence to contribute creative suggestions and collaborate closely with the team and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the visual direction and cinematography of shoots across fitness, lifestyle, personal branding, investment, commercial, and corporate content.
- Understand the objective and story behind every shoot and translate it into a solid visual language.
- Handle professional cameras, lenses, camera rigs, gimbals, lighting equipment, and other cinematography equipment with confidence.
- Have robust knowledge of camera alignment, framing, composition, exposure, focus, lens selection, camera movement, and shot design.
- Plan and execute different types of shots, including cinematic sequences, talking-head content, fitness action shots, product shots, lifestyle visuals, interviews, and commercial campaigns.
- Work closely with directors, creative teams, content strategists, editors, production teams, and senior management to achieve the desired visual outcome.
- Contribute creative ideas during pre-production, production, and post-production.
- Proactively suggest improvements to camera angles, lighting, locations, movements, transitions, compositions, and storytelling.
- Be willing to respectfully challenge existing ideas when a better creative or technical approach can improve the final result.
- Understand how to create content that works across different platforms, including Instagram, YouTube, advertisements, brand films, documentaries, and other digital platforms.
- Maintain visual consistency and a recognizable cinematic quality across all brand content.
- Ensure efficient camera setup, shoot execution, equipment management, and production workflow.
- Collaborate with the editing team to ensure that footage is captured with the final edit and storytelling requirements in mind.
- Stay updated with modern cinematography techniques, camera technology, lighting techniques, visual trends, and content formats.





Required Technical Expertise The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong practical knowledge of:
- Professional cinema and mirrorless camera systems
- Camera settings and exposure
- Camera and lens selection
- Framing and composition
- Camera alignment and positioning
- Focus and depth of field
- Cinematic camera movements
- Handheld, tripod, gimbal, and other camera setups
- Lighting design and practical lighting
- Three-point lighting and cinematic lighting techniques
- Natural and artificial light
- Colour temperature and white balance
- Log/RAW workflows and dynamic range
- Frame rates and shutter angles/speed
- Lens characteristics and focal lengths
- Audio awareness and synchronization
- Shot planning and visual continuity
- Basic understanding of colour grading and post-production workflows

Storytelling & Creative Thinking Storytelling is a critical part of this role.

We are looking for a DOP who understands that great cinematography is not only about technically perfect footage—it is about communicating a story, emotion, personality, and purpose through visuals.

The DOP should be able to:

- Understand the story before picking up the camera.

- Build sequences rather than simply capturing individual shots.

The DOP should bring expertise, creativity, storytelling ability, technical knowledge, and initiative to every production.

Experience

- Proven professional experience as a DOP, Cinematographer, or Senior Camera Professional.
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating cinematography and visual storytelling.
- Experience with commercial, fitness, lifestyle, personal branding, corporate, or digital content is preferred.
- Strong understanding of modern digital content production.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a larger team.
