We are looking for a qualified and compassionate Dietician to join our hospital team. The candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional needs, preparing individualized diet plans, providing nutrition counselling, and coordinating with doctors and the healthcare team to support patient recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' nutritional status and dietary requirements.
- Prepare individualized diet plans based on patients' medical conditions and nutritional needs.
- Provide dietary counselling to patients and their attendants.
- Plan therapeutic diets for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, renal disorders, cardiac conditions, obesity, and other clinical conditions.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, kitchen staff, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient diets.
- Monitor patients' nutritional progress and modify diet plans when required.
- Ensure prescribed diets are communicated accurately to the kitchen and concerned departments.
- Educate patients regarding healthy eating habits and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain proper records of diet assessments,
counselling, and follow-ups.
- Ensure compliance with hospital food safety, hygiene, and infection-control practices.
- Participate in patient care meetings and other hospital activities as required.
Qualification
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food & Nutrition / Dietetics / Clinical Nutrition.
- Relevant certification or registration, where applicable.
- Hospital or clinical experience will be preferred.
Experience
- 1–3 years of relevant experience.
- Freshers with good clinical knowledge and communication skills may also apply.
