About the Role

We're hiring a hands-on DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to run the infrastructure behind our digital platforms: IndiaPicture, MahattaArt and StudioIP. Your job is to keep production and staging environments stable, secure, monitored and recoverable.

Please note: this is not a desktop IT support, hardware or office network role.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage Linux production and staging servers: health monitoring, upgrades and security patches
- Build, deploy and troubleshoot Docker-based applications and their configurations
- Support deployments, basic CI/CD pipelines and rollback procedures alongside developers
- Monitor uptime, set up alerts, analyse logs and handle first-level incident response
- Maintain automated backups and test that they restore
- Manage SSH access, permissions, SSL certificates and DNS/domain settings
- Document servers, deployments, backups, access controls and recovery procedures
- Track resource usage and capacity, and help keep cloud costs under control

Required Skills Linux administration, cloud hosting, Docker, Nginx/Apache,



Git, basic CI/CD, SSH, DNS & SSL, backup & restore, server monitoring, log analysis, Bash scripting, basic networking, and database backups/basic DB administration.

Positive to Have

Python, GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Jenkins, Redis, MySQL, CDN setup, APM tools, security hardening, cloud cost optimisation.

Not Required

Kubernetes, Terraform or other IaC tools.

You'll Fit In If You

- Can handle routine infrastructure work on your own and stay calm when production breaks
- Flag problems early, before they turn into emergencies
- Write things down, so no knowledge lives in only one person's head
- Work closely with developers and QA as a shared resource across the engineering team
